I feel confident in saying the JMU was the 2nd best team we played thus far. Better than both OU and Baylor.

That's gotta be a work in progress. Probably get tightened up before or during SEC play. Pitchers have to be quicker to the plate to give the catchers a chance, and catchers have to throw it accurately.

Christian Moore is too good to be getting spot starts. I don’t know where you play him, but man that is one hell of a bench piece.

I'm thinking that if Tony brings in Steenstra to replace Ortega at 2nd, that doesn't indicate he has a high opinion of Moore's defensive skills. But Moore sure has a bat and he sure can swing it.
