The Official #3 Tennessee vs Liberty NCAA Regional Final Game Thread Sunday 6:46 PM EST

At this point, Van Horn is just hoping he hasn't broken his clydesdale, because he's either riding that thing to a title or riding him straight into the ground and an epic collapse. Only two ways this ends. He goes the whole way being lights out, or his arm breaks down and it results in like an epic 6-7 run meltdown inning in crunch time.

Can’t argue much of that at all.

Law of averages means he WILL have a bad outing. Just a matter of time.

So...whole hog, or full boar? Yeah, it’s not gonna change and Kopps is a fifth year senior, forget about it, he has no leverage. If he wants the ball, he’s gonna get the ball.

I understand that. I'm just saying those are the two ways I see this going. If I were a gambling man, I think there is a higher chance of the latter (the arm falling off) than the former.

I don't want his arm to fall off..I just want him to have 1 bad inning and we beat them for the title...then he can go and make some money in MLB...from everything I've read he's a good dude

This, from what ive seen him against TN. He isnt as good against lefties because ball breaks right into the bat bath. You need to have a handful in a row to get to him. Hes killer on righties.

Or the movie ending. They didn’t lose a series in the SEC all year, and I wanna beat em but, he’s really good on a plethora of levels. Trying to put myself in their shoes, they deserve it, or the regular season is...well meaningless. They are where they are because of Kopps and hitting homers. They are a damn fine baseball team doing it a different way, I dig it!!!

I'm not rooting for Kopps to fail by any means. He seems like a very fine dude. I just question the use. It's not just been this past weekend, he's been a workhorse all year. Kopps already had an uphill battle to be a consistent major leaguer with the way he pitches, and he will need to be healthy to make that happen. I don't want to see him fall apart from over use.

LSU already up 2-0. We're going to seriously have to listen to an entire week of Paul Manieri retirement magic BS that literally no one but LSU fans want to hear.
