The positive is we’re not likely to see him again this weekend. If he’s who they turned to first then I’d assume he’s who they feel the most confident in and if so, we withstood the best arm they could throw at us and made him do it for 5 innings.

Such a great feeling when you grab the first game in the series especially on the road. Puts more pressure on the home team. Taking 2 of 3 on the road...in the SEC....at SC where we've struggled for years....what a capper to a great regular season. Gotta keep convincing myself this is really UT baseball we're talking about.

If I recall correctly, the announcers said he’d only appeared in 4 or 5 SEC games. That tells me they found themselves down 7-0 and decided not to waste their best relievers on a lost cause and instead put in a guy who isn’t used much and he gave them exactly what they needed.

I'm still trying to just enjoy the season..but still in the back of my mind...we were like 2 runs away from leading for SEC championship...that was a gut punch Sunday...but honestly Arky and Vandy probably still a little better than us...gap has moved from miles to inches though
