Yeah, my biggest issue is they called it differently second half. Not on one side, they called more stuff on both teams second half that they were letting go more in first half. Of all calls for him to get a tech on, he chose that one.Really stupid tech by Pearl as there wasn’t a foul. Thought the refs called it pretty consistently between half’s and teams. Certainly a few mistakes like the last out of bounds ball, but there’s always going to be a few bad calls.
I think the clock had to be under 2 minutes to review that type of callIs there anyone who can explain why the obvious turnover on Auburn was ruled to be out on Tennessee? Then, the referees say the play cannot be reviewed? What does that even mean? We have had multiple instances this year where points were put back on the board after missed goal-tending calls. We can’t review a simple out-of-bounds play? That’s ********.
I’m elated that we won but just when I think the refs cannot get worse they do.
Down game from him from a silly turnover standpoint. Still, made some HUGE 3s and made his free throws down the stretchWould have won by 20 if Zeigler played his normal SEC level. Uncharacteristic turnovers 4 missed free throws and 2 were the front end of a 1&1 so really 6 missed.
Refs were not a difference in this one IMO
I know, I kept reading in this thread that the crowd was anemic. I’ve seen tweets talking about how loud it was in TBA tonight. Also, the crowd gave the Vols a burst of energy tonight. I’m so happy for the players and coaches but the fans who were able to attend.
The student section is second to none.
