Our defense definitely did make them look that way, I just don't think they looked impressive at all. They didn't show anything until Tennessee got fat and complacent on that big lead.

Nobody would like that match up. They trended in a positive direction late in the season. According to an ACC buddy of mine, they haven't had a foul called against them in over a month... the good news is we probably won't get Pat Adams and crew again... the bad news is the three refs are from the ACC and their kids go to Duke on scholly's & don't play sports

Have you ever played lateral movement sports with a groin injury? You are severely hampered and as their competition rises they will need him and if he has to sit or even plays and is very limited they are not the same team that got a 1 seed. Make no mistake about it a group injury is a big deal for a win or home home tournament game.

Eh that part is hogwash. Its arguable if "momentum" within a game even has a real effect on the teams' play, rather than just how fans feel watching. It certainly does not have near the game to game impact people think it does. There is just variance in performance, especially from young players. I think Duke will beat us because theyre a long team thats fully healthy and we love turning the ball over and have no PG. But they wont beat us because they're in a groove and we're in a rut

Barnes cant shoot the ball for his players. Barnes needs to just get some players that can drive and get the ball to the hole. Also just get a few players that can shoot a basketball, Our players cant even shoot free throws.

As has been said many times by many people, this roster just isn’t all that talented. We have some guys that are capable of a big night every once in a while, but nobody consistent. They are all tight on offense hoping not to be the one that misses a shot at a key moment. Hey, they play good defense though.

My concern is Uros and Aidoo, picking up quick, cheap fouls on those 2 Duke bigs.

Yes, it really shows. We need at least 2 PG / ball handlers on the team at all times. What gets me is how passive and afraid our seniors play. Tournament time, if refs don't blow whistles, Vescovi gets held the entire game. James and Nkamhoua...what can you say, it is just who they are. James has played 4 NCAA tournament games and has played poorly in 3 of them.
