The Official #4 Tennessee vs Kentucky Weekend Series Thread (Game 1 Thursday @ 7:30PM) (Game 2 Friday @ 6:30PM) (Game 3 Saturday @ 1PM)

it's almost unbearable to be in a game thread anymore.......gloom and doom. It's a nine-inning game and a 56 game season and you know what, crap happens from time to time.
Couldn’t be a more truthful statement. I feel the same way. My suggestion would be for folks to watch the SEC Network “sportscenter” type show in the evening on the weekends. It’s full of crazy highlights of comebacks, implosions, late inning rallies etc. in the SEC. That’s what makes baseball the greatest game ever invented. It ain’t over til it’s over.

they do a great job covering SEC baseball and all the sports too..........

yes, you have......and that's why I stay away from the FF. Too many Roger Staubach's over there!

I've met Staubach a couple times. I've done business with his commercial real estate company. Neat guy. Great business man.

Looks like the Legends will be primed for tonight...............

For all the bad that comes with winning a few games, Legends of Lindsey Nelson is a bright spot, that’s a great energy to have at the park and we have needed it for a long time!

I know how you feel, I grew up a Cowboys and Raiders fan, so I Cafego the Steelers.

That was offensive pass interference on Swann.
Those were the good ol' days.

My favorite Cowboy of all time was Walt Garrison. One of the biggest thrills of my life was the day I met him at a team roping event. Walt is a real cowboy.

I assume he was funny as hell in person.

Yeah that kind of football doesn’t really exist now, Jack Tatum, Drew Pearson, Kenny Stabler, Earl Campbell, I guess that’s just from growing up at the time.

One of my all time favorite NFL players.

Something minor went wrong in a commercial real estate transaction that I was doing through his brokerage. I got a call from him personally apologizing and letting me know he was returning the full amount of the commision.
