Yeah...the defense has me more worried than the offense right now

I’m am not sure what to make of this team. Against some teams Bama, for example, they play tough, but then they go soft like they did Wednesday night. They are standing around waiting for someone to get open. A player drives, but has no inside help and has to give it up.

Understand your point and agree our D isn't playing with as much effort as they usually demonstrate. Still, South Carolina is only shooting 35.7% from field. They aren't setting the nets on fire and yet still are tied. That is worrisome.

That's what sets Knecht apart from Lanier...DK was/is aggressive and looked to drive the ball and attack a defense. Lanier does not do that.

That's just not his mold, as he's a shooter. He does need to fight harder to get open. If there was a post presence he'd probably be much more open and consistent. Hopefully they turn it up 2nd half.

Lanier and Ziegler are too inconsistent offensively and this team shoots too many threes that is why they can’t keep a lead

Our D has seemed to regress some last couple of games. It was cracking pretty hard there for a couple games. I really hope that is the one thing we can count on come tournament time.
I really hope I am right, too. If not, we don't make it out of the first weekend.

We held Bama well below their season average. Defense is fine.
