Umpires got it right. When Gilbert came to the mound, Booker went to CF. So both were in the field at the same time. Then Booker batted in Gilbert’s spot which made illegal substitution so Booker was called out. Both cannot be in the field at the same time. Should have batted Jorel for Gilbert and Booker for DH.
