All he had up to that game was his legs. Instead of spying him and forcing him to throw, Banks call the same s*** plays like tonight and he torched us with his arm AND legs.I don't have a problem with the word in this context, but I felt like we were more willing than we let on. Hard to charge AR when we begged for it.
When your season blows up in your face like it did tonight and your QB is likely out, the team will be hard pressed to come out and play hard. If they couldn't do it tonight when they had a shot at the playoffs, how hyped do you think they'll be to face Vandy in Nashville? Vandy smoked UF and they'll be drooling at the thought of taking us down. I think 9-4 is just as likely as 10-2...if not more likely. Absolutely crushing. And I'd have to think that this won't make for a red hot end to this years recruiting class either. All in all, this one might be a lot more damaging than any of us would like to think when the dust settles. I'd have to think that Vandy becomes a must win and a huge, huge game for us next week.Music City? Ending the season with 3 losses in the last 4 games sinks is pretty far.
Because we beat the teams that we thought May beat us - Bama , FL, LSU, and/or Ky, and Pitt. Why does 10-2 feel so deflating now. At the start of the year we all would have took that.
This sucks
Thats a terrible take. We got blown out because we have no talent in the backfield, a terrible db coach who’s already failed here once, and a coordinator who thought not pressuring a qb who had only thrown 8 tds all year was a good idea the entire gameThere's an old saying in sports: "what goes around comes around". I suspect that Drinkowitz and a bunch of Mizzou Tigers are laughing their azzes off tonight.
