Back from baby shower…had to follow the game on my phone after Vols went up 21-7. Can’t believe people would do a baby shower when the Vols are playing and not even have a TV! Man, how do these people live like that!

Glad we blew it open in the second half - I vote we do that in the first half next week at South Carolina.

This game was enjoyable, especially all the NegaNancyVols whining at the beginning, enjoyable.

I’m not gonna lie I was negative. I just want to win and make it to playoffs. I just can’t imagine how good we’d be if we played a damn near perfect game. Unbeatable?

Trying not to be biased, I think this game should illustrate why Hooker is a Heisman worthy qb . He looked bad against Georgia , yes, but that was clearly a total team breakdown for us. Other than that, Missouri had us reeling at one point with all the momentum, we were flailing and hungover from the Georgia game, we couldn't do anything right , and Hooker did nothing but drop them with a Colt Python off the hip. When he has 2 feet of space to go through his progressions, he's as deadly if not more so than any qb in cfb. What has any other individual player done to elevate their team more than he has?

Yeah, going to baby showers & weddings this time of the year should be outlawed by everyone who lives for the football season. Send them a gift. It only comes around once a year.

Aside from Texas A&M, the Vols have played Missouri fewer times than any other current SEC member, as Saturday's contest will mark just the 11th meeting all time between the two programs. After going 2-5 over the first seven games against the Tigers, Tennessee has won three straight to even the series, including a 62-24 blowout victory last season in Columbia.

Easy win number four in a row over Missouri today and Sampson looked like he is ready for a bigger workload.

The Tigers showed great effort competing in a game they couldn’t realistically win mainly because they don’t have the defense to pressure Hooker so him having a great game throwing and a good game running was highly achievable.


1 excellent rebound win by the terrific Volunteers.

Also it was an excellent day for Volunteers fans because my 25th ranked Huskies defeated the 6th ranked Ducks 37-34 in what was an amazing game for the ages.
