Today, my 33 year old daughter and her husband are on The Hill for the first time enjoying game day pageantry before attending their first game in Neyland Stadium.

I've been a VOL fan since the early 1980's. My kids grew up in decades of the "valley of the shadow" and even though they watched me suffer in orange for 20 years as a faithful fan, they never caught the orange fever... UNTIL this year. Amazing what success will do for a fan base.

GO VOLS!

Good morning Volunteers! Hoping everyone has a fabulous day and that no injuries arise during this game and mostly I hope we beat the dog poop out of Mizzou today

Go Big Orange

Gonna send our Seniors off right. It will be close first half, but we will pull away in the second half. That's just what playoff caliber teams do.
The VOLS start out sprinting and score often all 4 quarters. It will be a Fo-by-Fo on steroids.

It is College Football Saturday in November.

Won’t be much longer when Tennessee demolishes Missouri.

For those going over to the stadium, Forecast says rain gone by 2pm. Looks like it’s moving pretty fast and looks to be light rain. Think we’re good by 1pm as fast as it’s moving. My other forecast is VOLS by FIDDY!! GBO! 🍊

Tennessee football coach Johnny Majors was fond of saying, "They remember what you do in November," and he was pretty stout in the calendar's 11th month.

From the 1985 SEC championship run by the Volunteers until the memorable 34-29 loss in 1990 to Ricky Watters, Raghib Ismail and that loaded Notre Dame team, Majors racked up 21 consecutive November triumphs.

Bad feeling about this game. The weather, the early start, last year's blowout at their place, so much at stake. Hope I'm as wrong as I've been most of this season.

Totally understandable. But I think this a mature team. I wish we’d had played better against Georgia last week but it is what it is. This group will be ready to go. Let’s send our seniors out the right way. Tennessee 48 Mizzou 17. Was at the Kentucky game and called 48-27 and we saw how that turned out. GBO

Bear has to be the most annoying person on any of these pre-shows.

He always feels like that weird friend who's at the party and no one knows who invited him but he's there so you try to involve him in the conversation.

Honestly, him and all their betting talk is off-putting. Part of the show's charm was lost when they decided to bring in the betting lines and talk about spreads and points, especially in the context of young people playing sport for our entertainment. Gambling is a low hobby, and I never liked that decision to bring that into their show. One of many they've made in their effort to chase viewership.
