This team’s progress is going to be down to what Santi and James give. They’ve got to start contributing offensively, not just defensively. That includes passing the ball not to someone’s back side and also not trying to catch a ball turned around.
Vescovi is playing like he is in middle school. He was better his freshman year. He has absolutely lost all confidence in his game. He should be on the bench.
Why JJJ couldn’t develop his offensive game here is beyond me. He’s got the size and athleticism to be very good. But his jumper is below average, and doesn’t penetrate to the basket
