His record in every aspect is better and he took a St John’s team to the tourney for first time in decades and win the big East with a team that is far less talented. Even if Barnes wins it all he is still not in Pitinos small select group.

Fulmer was never as good as Spurrier but I still rooted for the vols to beat FL. I don’t have to believe my team or coach is the best to still be a rational die hard fan. I am a fan. You are a fanatic.

No one is as good as Pitino. I think he’s the best coach in college basketball history. He can take any program to elite status.

Barnes can be a fantastic coach and not be as good as Pitino. All that is to say, I agree.
