The major problem I see is certain posters only drive by here when we’re losing but no where to be found when we’re winning.

Pretty easy to spot the ones who have normal discussions vs the ones who clog the forum with negativity.

I admit to being totally wrong on this one. The first few minutes where we were outrebounded + Pat Adams crew had me less than hopeful, but our guys pulled through. Lanier and Gainey and ZZ were killer, and Okpara played great through his injury against a tough opponent

To be fair, Adams wasn’t as big of a problem as that other ref (Jones I believe). He’s the one who called the vast majority of the fouls against us especially in the first half. That clown was pitiful.

Yeah, agreed. I didn’t know his name, just Adams. He’s “crew chief” or “head ref” or whatever, right? When in doubt, blame him!

So did ZZ. He didn’t look very good for the vast majority of the game. Bunch of unforced errors and bad decisions. But he sure brought it that last couple of minutes. Clutch.

I said this in another post, but I LOVE having senior leadership in the backcourt during crunch time. That’s huge in March.

The one we got called for on Taylor today was absolutely criminal. I mean the refs must be getting paid off level of bad.

He got fouled 2 seconds before he shot and wasn't touched on the shot at all. Then the officials discussed it, called it a floor foul, then reversed that back to a 3 shot shooting foul. It was so bad I hope the SEC suspends the crew for it. It was a televised embarrassment to the league.

Didn't get a chance to watch but great win. Tough to win on the road in this league. We still need some inside presence to step up on offense and carry us when the shots aren't falling.

Lanier carried the first, Ziegler carried the second apparently....... Got home to see Ziggy drain the three off the inbound, designed play and great stroke to put it firm out of grip.

The game of basketball has ebbs and flows. You have runs and you have lulls. Teams play clean at times they get sloppy. The key through all this is consistency. The teams ranked at the top have been the most consistent. Tennessee is one of them teams. they play tough defense overall and have improved overall on offense. They create a lot of turnovers and don’t make to many themselves. It isn’t pretty all the time but you will be hard pressed to find many teams that play harder and more together game in and game out. GBO!!!!!
