Watching the Zag Bama game with all the foul calls when driving to the basket... I won't ever understand why Barne's teams just stay on the perimeter and never drive to the basket to pick up easy fouls/foul shots and get the other team in foul trouble... If Arizona has big men, then this is exactly what we need to be doing to draw fouls and get them in trouble early... Guess we'll see...

We fouled out two of Arizona’s starters last year including their best player.

Coach Barnes must know a little bit about what he’s doing. His Vols beat Gonzaga by 19 on a neutral court whereas the mighty Tide is about to lose to them in Birmingham.

Not really having anything to do with my point... Talking about the overall season and our recent history of playing almost pure perimeter basketball and not driving to the net to pick up fouls on a regular basis during a game. We could definitely get the bigs we will face tonight in foul trouble if we choose to drive...

We are 14th in the nation in free throw attempts per game

Just started getting sick an hour ago. Was about to head to Tucson. I guess I gotta eat this admission cost. **** I'm so sad. Maybe we'll catch Vols in 10 years the next time they come to AZ.
Sorry, man, that sucks. If I lived in Tucson would you have given me the tickets?

So everyone will play except for JJJ but two won't be quite 100%... Not expecting a win, but if we come to play and don't roll over, we can keep this close. Yes they are averaging high scoring numbers, but look at their schedule... they have not hit a defense yet like ours. All depends on whether we drive to the basket, make our regular shots, minimize stupid turnovers, and make our foul shots, which a top 10 team should at this point.
If Tennessee can shoot their threes, at least an acceptable % then it will be a good game. If they go into a few cold spells like they do at times then it may be a beat down for the Vols. I am thinking they will shoot well and keep it close.

Just win....I am hoping I can stay up for the whole game. At least I'm on CT. Arizona sounds good and will be on home court. Good challenge for Vols entering Conference play. Need great defense, hitting 50% or better from threes, and young guys contributing without a lot of fouls. GBO!

Currently rolling silverware.

Lucky for me the Volunteers Wildcats is late so most likely I can still the 2nd half of a thrilling game since usually stops being busy during 9pm hour on Saturdays at Texas Roadhouse.

This game has a Sweet 16 feeling. We win this , it’s like we move on to E8. Reality would put us no less than top 5. Big game tonight!! Let’s see how our team responds!

I agree mainly because Arizona is a heavyweight foe.
High confidence if the high ranked Volunteers can defeat a high ranked Wildcats in Arizona tonight.
