Well if he wants to have the opportunity to help then he’s going to have to embrace his role and play it. Barnes railed on ZZZ and Mashack for fouling 3 point shots after the Vandy game. Also doubt Barnes has told Dubar his role is to fire up a 3 the first time he touches the ball off the bench. Can’t leave your brain on the bench when you check in.Dubar is typical irrational confidence b-ball player. Some games like Texas he's helping, some games like today he's hurting.
Of course he does. He needs a mantra though… something like, “In the flow of the game”, or “After the ball has been on both sides of lane”Nice win against a ranked opponent. Wasn't picturesque ... but so what? Let's get ready for Auburn. Huge game.
..... and Dubar does not need to shoot another 3 point shot the rest of his life.
I was one of them but he still isn’t earning more run, that’s for sure. Not as if Milicic was stellar in this game either. 25 minutes, 3 pts and 3 TOs. Still rebounds but we need more offense. Only 14 pts off bench tonight after only getting 8 bench pts against Vandy. That’s a problem. For all you guys calling for more minutes for Dubar - we’re up by 14 wanting to work some clock. Dubar checks into the game and takes a 3 pointer 4 seconds later. Goes to the other end of the court and fouls the guy taking a 3. Back to the bench you go….
Definitely a good win. I’m guessing a lot of games in conference won’t be picturesque. Folks are forgetting that MSU was ranked 14th and they are good. The conference is loaded with good teams and you have to bring it every night or you can/will get beat. Only weak links that I can see are LSU and Arkansas. Just get W’s any way you can and move on.Nice win against a ranked opponent. Wasn't picturesque ... but so what? Let's get ready for Auburn. Huge game.

One I clearly saw Zieglar got fouled but the ref called Him for the foul after the fact. Disappointing that Milicic had his worst game, turned the ball over and couldn't hit a shot. They still need to figure out how to score on these tight defenses, like when State clamped down to start the second half. Auburn plays that too, 40 minutes.Probably the worst officiated game I’ve seen all year.

This team is too easy to guard in the half court. We are a very good team but these next 4 games (3 at home) will reveal what our ceiling may be.
What blows my mind is how they don't call double dribble on plays where the guy getting the pass has to dribble it once or twice to control it and then after gaining possession, that guy starts dribbling again. When I played, from the late 70's until the late '90's that was called a double dribble every time. I know, I'm old, so get off my lawn. That's saying something. I haven't seen a decently officiated game all year in any collegiate matchup. No calls on walking are pathetic
I'm fine with him shooting. I know he may miss some until he gets going, so that's why I've been saying I wish they would leave him in for longer minutes at a time in hopes he can find his groove.Shooters like to shoot and he is a shooter.
Barnes needs to give him whatever pep talk he gave MashackIgor turning it around offensively is to me the biggest key right now in this season. If he can shoot the three at even a solid 35% and get to the rim more often, it would add a dimension to this offense that is missing right now, and reduce the stagnant possessions.
Absolutely. I almost believe that rule has been modified as long as that BS has been going onWhat blows my mind is how they don't call double dribble on plays where the guy getting the pass has to dribble it once or twice to control it and then after gaining possession, that guy starts dribbling again.
