To be honest, I don't think many of those kids had a choice. It was more likely a "you can enter the portal or we can dismiss you from this football team" kind of situation considering all the violations those kids were involved in with Pruitt. Of course I have no idea if that is true or not, but I wouldn't bet against it.

I’m very happy my Volunteers finally defeated the Crimson Tide in the Nick Saban era.

I was confident the Volunteers would make a game winning field goal after the Crimson Tide missed a long game winning field goal because 1 timeout, good field position, and enough time to get into field goal range.

I had to work at Texas Roadhouse so that is why I wasn’t commenting during the game.

Rewatching that game, I think Bama played really hard that game and they can walk away with a moral victory for being able to keep it close. I think if Bama gets a couple more good recruiting classes they might have a chance at beating us in a couple of years. :)

As the saying goes, "You are a meen won."

I just have to address those that were ripping the Vols defense.

Our dline chased that Young Al over the freaking field. At least half the “plays” which Bama made were solely because of Bryce Young. No DB can cover a receiver when the qb is running all over the field.

Bryce Young is an incredible qb and he played lights out.

9 out 10 QBs not named Bryce Young will not extend a fraction of the plays he was able to last night. Any other QB we'll face, those would become sacks, throw aways, or a forced turnover.

Bryce Young seems like the only one that really looked devastated. He played so awesome, it is hard to not feel bad for him. He left everything on the field at Neyland. Not sure his other teammates or even Saban could say that.
I don't think Saban was happy at all. but i got the same feeling about the team. those guys just don't get how big of a letdown they are

I definitely like the fact that he played and seemed less injured than was let on (it'll cut down on the AL excuses)......

But.... there's absolutely, positively, 100% NO way, with a gun to my head I'll EVER feel bad for an AL player losing a game (unless he was injured on a play)

Not hard at all......
