Poor play from interior line combined with some poor decisions and pocket navigation by Milton has really hampered the offense tonight. Milton great when given clean pocket for most part but really see the difference vs HH in decision making and avoiding negative plays. It is pretty clear that CJH doesn't believe the interior o-line can win against Clemson DL as he usually is too stubborn about running inside vs tonight where he has totally abandoned it.

We don’t really ask guys to work through progressions in this offense. He’s perfectly capable of running read option, but even if he wasn’t, we barely run it

On the read options which have been run tonight, Milton has mostly failed. He isn’t capable of it because he isn’t a running quarterback. Hell he is just a dude with a huge arm. But going into his 6th year as a college QB he isn’t really a capable SEC or Big 10 QB.
