The last thing those post players want is a big thick physical bruiser to bang on them. He essentially is helping break their will. When Pons comes back in fresh those guys have wore themselves down banging with Anosike.

Agree, I did have a little higher hopes for Anosike, but he’s incredibly undersized height wise tonight, but he’s done well using his strength to defend. He’s not filling up the stat sheet but he’s not a liability on defense and he’s wearing down whoever he’s on.

Didn’t like the last couple minutes of the half for us, but overall great half. We need to clean up the turnovers. For as good as we look on defense we’ve turned the ball over as many times as Mizzou and more of ours are unforced. Holding them to a terrible percentage though and we’ve out rebounded them.

Gotta like where we are with JJJ not scoring (I think) and Bailey struggling a bit ( although the walk call when he fed Fulky looked like a bad call to me). Pons playing his best half of the season. Heart skipped a beat when Fulky got injured
