It really is a shame that we couldn't make anything work in late December against Gonzaga or Villanova but, assuming this lead holds and UT takes care of business against Alabama on Saturday, I don't think there's any good argument against slotting Tennessee just a touch below Gonzaga/Baylor in the college basketball hierarchy.

They'll likely be #5 in the country come Monday, but to me there's no question that they should be #3.
