The Official #7 Tennessee vs. #2 Purdue Game Thread, 8:00 PM ET, ESPN

Same **** different year. TN still can't shoot when it matters (30%) and can't rebound to prevent second chances (gave up 16 Off Reb).

Losing when we limited Braden Smith all game is frustrating. We have so many dudes but no one could really get it going. Yet they have some guy score 25+..

I’m just disappointed in how awful we looked on offense tonight. No real flow from us, felt like we were rushing shots on a ton of possessions. So many turnovers. Literally fumbled the ball on countless occasions.

Losing to Purdue obviously isn’t a bad loss. It’s just so annoying some of the things we did tonight. This game was there to take.

Simple - in a game where Knecht struggles (bound to happen) . . . UT is back to . . . Signature scoring droughts.

Officiating has been bad. Edey has gotten by with murder . . . Yet ended up shooting 17 FT.

Edey played in bubble wrap. We missed too many open shots. I’m encouraged by a lot of what I saw tonight, though. I didn’t think we were as good as Purdue…I leave this game thinking we’re better than Purdue. They needed a career game from a guard who won’t average 10 ppg this season to beat us. They beat us tonight and there are no moral victories. However, if we see them again, the good guys will come out on top.
