Started slow on offense without Vescovi. Figured we'd maul them in the second and we did. Fortunately everyone can play defense so even the slow start didn't hurt us. That said, it was EKU, hopefully we can avoid a slow start vs Maryland.

Man I really like Uros. He is such an easy guy to cheer for. Love seeing him always supporting the baseball and football teams. I know he has had his limitations but maybe this is the year the lightbulb comes on. He looked good tonight.

May have been 1 3 pointer blocked…….if so still.

Our defense is just smothering and will keep us in most games. We will be a tough out in the SEC. Effort is definitely there across the lineup, we rebound well, and share the ball. Unfortunately until we consistently prove otherwise we cannot shoot from anywhere on the court well. And we turn the ball over too much. It will be our undoing. Nkamhoua, Plavsic, and Aidoo have poor hands and can’t catch the ball…especially Nkamhoua. Next year if Awaka ever got 20 minutes per game, he would average double figures on the boards easily.

If we improve this year it will be because Key and Phillips continue to progress offensively and Vescovi returns to shooting a much better percentage.
