I want to say this, we need to strengthen our OOC schedule. Having these patty cakes in the Dooley, Jones, Pruitt era was needed. I am not saying get another Power 5 but play someone with a pulse like Fresno State, Memphis, Tulane, etc.

When we scheduled this game, they had just played in the MAC championship and were playing pretty good

Then their coach left for Colorado and their best players went to the portal.

Not saying they were ever elite or anything but they were not this horrific when we scheduled this game

What was NC State last week?

We play 1 Power 5 team out of 4 OOC games. Back in the Peyton Manning era, we had only 3 OOC games but would play sometimes 2 or more Power 5 teams.

Take 1997, we opened with Texas Tech and UCLA.

I mean it doesn't have to be Power 5 but this team is jut horrible. Who knows maybe Kent State was better when we scheduled this.
