The alarming thing to me is the defensive play all night long. It has been atrocious ALL. NIGHT. LONG. That is a problem. Pearce has been neutralized by holds and double teams and nobody else is getting close to the QB. On the offensive side of the ball, there are PIs that could be called against MSU nearly every play that I have seen and some cheap shot tackles.
I hope Nico is ok and the coaching staff manages to fix this gaping hole of a defense before next week.

Watch how he walks off the field after the play where he ran the ball for about 5 yards. He looked hurt or dazed when he was walking there.

Against a terrible MSU team that is gashing the middle of the field like Tennessee is playing with 8 guys on defense.

I've seen guys out on crutches with ice on their knees or ankles. Usually, especially with a team leader, it's best if they're at least on the bench.

It could be ribs but they'll normally wrap them after ice, I thought. I might be wrong about that these days.

Positive thinking is that being in the protocol doesn't have to necessarily mean a concussion and they could be holding him out as a precaution.
