I think it was the opposite. Just prior Barnes wanted them to go into the offense set and try to score and Dubar started dribbling it out. Barnes might have wanted to run a play for a walk on to score a bucket.

Barnes was motioning to Dubar to hurry up, but I can’t tell if he was telling him to hurry up and get across half court before getting a 10 second call or if he was motioning Dubar to get into the offensive set.

Barnes was upset with the Dubar for acting like he was going to attack the rim. Barnes wants the players to get the ball across and dribble the clock out up around the scorers table.

Without a mic on Barnes it’s hard to tell. Dubar got the ball at around 15 seconds and was just loafing around. The assistant closest to the scorers table was very animated with the arm waving which was probably to get the ball into the front court. Then Dubar crossed mid court and was casually dribbling about 2 steps beyond the 3Pl. Two defenders were guarding him more aggressively than necessary and when the clock got to about 2 or 3 seconds Dubar faked that he was going to drive. Then just about as the buzzer went off Barnes jumped up from his seat and was very angry and in Dubar’s face. He maybe was bothered by the entire sequence starting with Dubar disregarding the 10 second line. The Barnes outburst only lasted about 1-2 seconds. It was weird. I doubt that Dubar had practiced how to close out a blow out.
