I don't know; he is overweight and may have high blood pressure. If he's taking Lisinopril, that can cause dry itch in the throat. I have the same cough. It doesn't seem to be a clearing of the throat type of cough he has just a single or double reaction cough due to the irritation that comes and goes.

Just hope he’s okay.

He may have started an ACE inhibitor for high BP, just guessing. They are notorious for a dry cough. When I started lisinopril I had one for the first 5 months

That was a statement win. That's what I've been wanting to see before I bought in. Go to another ranked team's place and impose your will. Still not on the playoff hype train yet(I will be fully if we manage a win next week), but I'm satisfied for the season now regardless and definitely feel like our team will be incredible in a couple more seasons.
