I agree with this but I think it’s reasonable for people to be upset about this defensive performance - the faces may change but it’s the same results. It’s a head scratcher all around.

We clearly do NOT have the players in the secondary. I think the play calling is reflecting that.

Pretty sure it takes a half way decent defense to keep a top 25 SEC team scoreless until 3 minutes in first half right?

I've lost track of all the 3rd and longs where the defense could not stop them.

Our fans are insane if they expected a National Title contending team in year 2 of Heupel. We lost so many players after Pruitt and Heupel only has 1 full recruiting class so far. Give us some time.

We are doing better than expected, enjoy the ride.

I mean you aren’t wrong but just a tiny adjustment here and there and this defense doesn’t give that up.

It's once they get 5 yards beyond the line, there is no safety. When the saftey comes up, they go over. Half time score is the most important.

We know our defense isn't exactly great, but they only got 7 in the first half. That's not bad. It's not the end of the world.

Defense has made several big plays and getting sacks. They've done more good than bad, for sure.
