The Official #8 Tennessee vs. #12 Kentucky Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN

Same issue Barnes ran into at Texas. He quit recruiting. We aren't getting the 5* players like we used too. He's taking the lazy approach and recruiting the portal He struck gold with Dalton, but that crap this year is trash. ZZ can't hit anything and hasn't all year. Maybe time to bring in some new, young blood at HC.

It allowed their dumb coach to actually start the right player at PG. It also made them one dimensional, so they had to shoot 3s. They jist shot out of their mind. It was all they had and they had to shoot at 50% to win. Anything less and they lose. If this game is played 100x this is the one time we lose.
You coping, bro. We lose worse than that if Butler and Carr are healthy and play

Good news is, we play them at Rupp after our midweek break. So we’ll be fresh & we’ll beat them.

Team has to get some rest in before Saturday. Hopefully Barnes recognizes that right now recovery is the main thing we need.
Really? I’m not sure about this. The biggest thing we need is for someone to step up and lead this get back on one page…and get back to playing with swagger. We looked defeated at the start

it’s hard to beat teams with 4-5 scorers when you only got a couple.

Question: Where does Lanier play if he’d signed with Ky? I’m not sure he does. He was practically a non factor minus a couple shots tonight.

Kentucky was without their starting point guard, their second string point guard, a starting forward….and their 7 foot Center playing point. How in the hell do you see things getting better for Tennessee at Rupp? You smokin some crack tonight?

Not enough depth on this team to play three day turnaround against good competition. You do not make shots when you are leg tired. We got outcoached tonight as well.
With this attitude, you’re just saying it’s okay to throw a game every week. These aren’t geriatric men, they’re 20 year olds. I think they can play twice a week.

Plus Kentucky had a bunch of injuries and played Saturday too.

Vols attempted twice as many 3's and still made one less than Kentucky.
That looked like a Joe Mazzulla team on one of the Celtics bad shooting nights - just keep jacking them up regardless.
