The Official #8 Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt Game Thread, 6:00 PM ET, SEC Network

Until the final 4-5 minutes, it looked to me on replay that we got a season's worth of makeup calls from the refs. That's two games in a row where it looked to me like our opponent got shafted with more than 50% of the bad calls and no-calls.

Did we cover the spread against Arky and Vandy?

edit: except poor Carr on his imaginary foul calls!
What about the two calls on Awaka blocks that even the TV guys discussed with the replays. They did have to take back the goal tend call, but they tried. What about the number of times they bodied up ZZ while on the dribble? He hit the floor once. What about the full body blow on the Aidoo drive to the basket? An incredible no way to miss call. Way more touch fouls on our defensive end. Not a horrible game, but they seemed to get some sympathy calls and especially NO CALLS. I rewatched the first half already. Give it a go without the real time fan issue and see what you see. Was surprised they called all of those out of bounds calls on them.... could have blind eyed those too.

My take or the MLB ranking?

To be exact the MLB network ranking a pitcher that has never started ahead of a MLB Pitcher that has started.

The reason you criticized them for that glaring inane flaw is entirely agreeable, and it’s a strong criticism for a factual reason.

I agree. Yamamoto May be a great one but at this point, I’m taking Verlander!
