I’ve watched a lot of TN football over the years and have seen a lot of dissatisfaction and disappointment and shouldn’t be surprised or upset at this beatdown, but yet I am here again totally disappointed and it’s not getting any easier

With White out and Thornton hobbled, we are woefully outmatched at WR. Even at full strength, we’d have been at a disadvantage.

Our offense has been shaky all season. And our defense took a huge hit when Pili went down for the year.

Overall, this team is just as flawed as that 2022 team was, just in different ways. In both cases, this program is still stuck in that 2nd tier where we aren’t real contenders . . . Unfortunately, we aren’t that far from the 3rd tier given the step back our offensive line and defense is likely to take next season. Yes, it’s talent - especially at O-line and WR (and, heck, maybe QB) - but it’s also mental. Heupel still hasn’t fixed that issue.

We are reeling in more 3 stars than the competition were trying to catch. If you bring in a a 3 star he needs to have one thing he is great at.

They ARE vastly more talented. With that said, they are typically vastly more talented than about anybody they ever play with the exception of possibly Bama and Georgia and they are still equal.

Really? This defense has been absolutely torched against any semblance of a good QB play. UGA and their QB looked like crap until they played us and we looked like dogshit! Same thing here tonight, thank god Milroe can’t throw or they would have beaten this team. The DB’s can’t be left on an island, the LB’s can’t cover anyone and the DL isn’t beating a patchwork OL like they were supposed to. Hes had all day to throw, this “great” defense was a damn mirage!

What a travesty. The first round = participation trophies for the corn fed BIg Ten elite and Notre Dame. Godawful product with the result of every single game on the box. Chalk for the home teams. Wow, who could have seen it coming. Thank goodness ASU and BSU are sitting at home with the auto byes waiting to get annihilated.
