There is a theme in games of meaning the last 2 years since Golesh left. We fall behind early and our offense is vanilla. No slants or downfield throws. No imagination. Are we so devoid of talent? I don't think so but we are the same as we have been for 25 years. We should win our share of these games but we don't. Case in point the option play in the first series of the second half. Short side of the field with low chance of success. I am 65 and have watched Tennessee for 50 years and we use to be feared but that was a long time ago. See y'all next season, GO VOLS!

I'd like to apologize for hyping up this team all year. This was an embarrassing performance on national TV. We got made to look like a third rate program by Ohio State. I tried to argue all year against our 17th rank in the talent composite. I was wrong. Ohio State made us look like how Georgia or Alabama treat the South Carolinas and Missouris of the world.

If we're ever gonna win on a stage like this we need to recruit better. Huepel better get to it on the recruiting trail and the transfer portal. This type of gap in talent between us and the elites is unacceptable. Nico was the only guy who looked like he belonged on the field with the Ohio State players. And guess what he's one of the few elite five star talents on our team. We need a team filled with Nicos if we're gonna be competitive with teams like Ohio State going forward.

If you think Notre Dame and PSU and OSU would win on the road well we won't know this year but Tennessee better think twice about who they invest in. Coaches, players etc because the program is being embarrassed again.

I feel so bad for the people who went to Columbus. The fans wrote a check that the team couldn't come close to cashing.

Tennessee better seriously consider their next steps.

You’re not wrong. This is embarrassing, and like you said these team doesn’t deserve the support those fans gave them tonight. These coaches were given 3 weeks to prepare and they’ve done nothing tonight but just embarass the program. Come to Jesus moment for Josh huep and these coaches better happen.
