My guess is that Barnes saw him as an option at PG as well as an compliment to Vescovi to keep defenses honest, but it's just not worked out that way. Pretty much just a body out there. The only thing I can think of is that Edwards is a project. Not ready to contribute at this level yet. Guess he's a guy we will start seeing as a junior....unless he transfers.

It is because Edwards doesn’t play the kind of defense Barnes wants. Barnes has admitted this publicly. I’d bet that Edwards transfers at the conclusion of the season.

This is exactly why I think Barnes has screwed up by not letting bj edwards get more playing time in blowouts. We only got 1 true pg and he has looked like garbage the past 2 games.
