The Official #9 Tennessee @ Texas A&M Game Thread, 2:00 PM ET, ESPN2

I am a big Barnes supporter, but I disagree with the defensive philosophy of over helping to choke off the paint, conceding more 3s. Just don't think it's the analytical approach.
But I think we'll be fine in this game

Olivier looking more decisive on offense. Good to see, even if it was just catch and shoot/dunk plays.

I was hoping their fouls would put more of their guys in foul trouble, but one dude (15) has four and a bunch of others have just 1. JJJ has 2 for us

I don’t think that’s Barnes philosophy though, I think some of our players just tend to sag inside. Reason I say that is of the 5 on court there seems to usually be only 1 or 2 that sag consistently.

Found the Wildcats fan...

He only played 3 years and finished 3rd in UT history for free throws attempted.

I know that doesn’t necessarily correlate with getting mugged (you can shoot a bunch of free throws and still be fouled on plays you don’t get the call)

But I’d personally never argue he didn’t get his fair share of foul shots.
