The Official #9 Tennessee vs. #5 Kentucky Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, ESPN

Went to a couple of boards but don't have access to paid boards. Kind of subdued reaction. They still believe that they have a team that could make Final Four. Surprising number of their people like to point out Barnes' record against UK (now 10-7). Think it's kind of the "we lost to a great team" attitude.

They also seem to be very sanguine about Cal. Not any real criticism. They enjoy the annual relevancy in the Championship discussions and figure that every year they have a chance.

I just expected the total meltdown that you used to get when they lost to UT or got beat in the SEC/ NCAA Tournaments. Not there.

I read it like this, we are still a 2 seed no sweat. But UT beat us twice?? Thinking?? Ok, we are both 2 seeds, thats it, we are both 2 seeds. But UT beat us twice and Auburn/Arkansas to end the season??? Thinking............

Pat Adams is terrible, but I’m pretty sure he didn’t make the Santa/Fulky call a few weeks ago. All you have to do is google about Adams throwing out a radio play by play guy in a mid major tournament, and his technical on Jeronnne Maymon when Cuonzo was here.

It was his crew. FOR SURE. He is the ref and has two umpires helping him.

Of course I’ll be on a plane to visit in-laws during game tomorrow, and they don’t even have cable to tape it 🤬🤬🤬

Let me ask you wise ones this historic question: Tennessee owns FOUR wins over the CURRENT TOP FIVE RANKED teams in the country right now. Has that ever happened here at UT? Pretty impressive regardless. And I'm wondering, anyone else in the nation have more top five wins?

Not in my memory. I go back to 1965 Vols.

Vols should be a 2 seed no matter what happens tomorrow. With that being said, need to win to get the SEC tourney monkey off our backs. Tennessee is a better team than Kentucky this year. You could argue they're the best team in the SEC over the last couple of months anyway. This team is built right to make a deep NCAA run.

Usually TENS units are used for pain management. But I’m sure there are minor benefits for tissue healing since the electrical impulses stimulate blood circulation. Usually you would use a different a different type of electrical stimulation, like high voltage pulsed current (HVPC), for tissue healing. There’s a lot of studies out there on it. I don’t have time to read it right now but just kind of skimmed through this one:
