9.5 point spread. Who is going to bet that after the Bama game? Hogs can easily beat that spread.

Well Arkansas is coming off of a game in which we had our worst shooting percentage in a game in 20 years. And starting PF Justin Smith is out 3-6 weeks which severely hindered our inside presence against Mizzou. With Smith out we're going to really struggle against strong, physical bigs which is why I don't think this is a great matchup for us unless we just get really hot from deep.

Truth is, if everyone else is shooting well, you have a chance. Tennessee is clearly superior talent-wise, so you will need good to great shooting to win, depending on how Tennessee is hitting. With our 21,000 plus crowd, we have a huge advantage.....oh, wait....never mind.

THE SERIES

• Tennessee leads its all-time series with Arkansas, 22-21, dating to 1936.
• The teams split last season's two meetings, with each squad winning on its home court.
• Santiago Vescovi had 20 points and eight assists the last time UT played Arkansas in Knoxville.
• Tennessee holds a 13-4 advantage when the series is contested in Knoxville and has won the last two meetings at home.
• Rick Barnes is 1-1 in head-to-head coaching matchups with Eric Musselman.

Barnes is 6-6 in his coaching career against Arkansas according to the game notes at utsports.com

I think the rivalry against Arkansas is the best in basketball of the four teams that have joined the SEC since 1992.

I don’t mean while I’m looking at my phone. Just in general. I used to plan my days around home games and now it’s moot.
Know what you mean. I went ahead and deferred my tickets til next year. Really hated to do it, but my schedule at work is funky due to Covid and have to work 50 percent of the Saturdays. Hard to burn that much vacation for just basketball. When things get back to normal, will be off every Saturday. Ready to get back to normal, if that will ever happen. lol

Since I’m not attending games, I keep forgetting if the game “today” is home or away.
No one is playing home games this year. Just a series of neutral site games where one team travels and the other walks out from their regular locker room.

Colorado is far from a scrimmage. They’re not a bad basketball team at all, will likely make the tourney and is currently top 15 in the NET rankings.

Oh, sorry! My mistake there, you're totally right. I forgot about Colorado. It feels like ages ago already.

I’m prepaid on TN Football, TN Basketball, and the Masters Tournament.

Possible sure, but I wouldn’t base it off one game where we lost two of our most important players for most of the game.
