Guys... we’re in a good spot. Miss St shot 60+% and we’re up 2 at the half. You know dang well our defense will come out and play a little more inspired. Plus, our best overall defensive guy was on the bench as well as other guys with 2 fouls. That was a half of game management. Now it’s time to turn it on. If Miss St continues to work from the perimeter... they’re gonna lose. We just gotta focus on locking up the inside and rebounding.

I don’t complain much about officiating however this year the Vols look at someone wrong and get whistled. Then we have a guy driving or penetrating with the ball and they get completely knocked off course and swallowed whistles. It just makes no sense. They either hate UT or they hate Barnes. No other explanation for it.

Barnes tenure at Clemson his teams were known for playing let’s say foul happy to keep up with other teams in the ACC since his teams were usually not as talented not sure if that comes into play throughout his career

Yeah I know he had two fouls but I would’ve preferred he just keep ZZ in there if the other option was bringing in a guy that’s been sitting that long.

Barnes has made 2 championship games and has won at least 1 game 4 out of 5 years. Rick Barnes has been very good in this tournament compared to our history.

These guys don’t lack effort. I had this discussion with a friend who is a fan, too. They play hard. Sometimes, the offense gets in a funk.
