CTV wants to give the two loyal veterans a chance to earn starting positions IMHO. They both deserve the chance. This is a young team and usually experience trumps youth.

I’m honestly a bit shocked at the lack of a rotation in the outfield so far. I know this is just Game 4 but I thought we’d see more. We heard so much about how fierce the competition was in the off-season, but based on who has played so far it doesn’t seem like it was that fierce.

I really thought we’d see Tears or Drieling get a start by now.

Agreed. Any good coach is going to give his veterans first opportunity.
If the young guys are good enough, they’ll show up eventually.
