That ball was booted which is why he made it, a clean pick up got him at first. On the other hand that wasn't a deep fly out that he tried to run on either and was a killer throw.

One issue that we’ve sometimes struggled with under Vitello is non-productive outs. It’s just that the last two years we’ve had so much long ball ability it didn’t really matter. But it looks like we won’t have nearly as much thunder in the lineup this year. We have to be able to make our outs productive more often.

He’s definitely closer to being a plus runner. Dickey will win a lot of games for TN.
