I haven’t seen any bad body language from the BaseVols or lack of hustling. Not sure what some of you are seeing. Just balls hit hard into the shift early in the game. Newstrom looks like a ball player.

Imo, they seem flat. Hard to get excited for a midweek when you're looking at Ole Miss this weekend, constantly changing pitchers, different line up, its cold, etc. i think it all takes a toll. And yes, before everyone starts, I know its baseball, theyre all not going to be run rule games or10-2 games.

It’s early. He will likely PH or play C or 1B before the night is over. Grimmer and Newstrom have been knocking the cover off the ball in the limited reps they’ve had. Clark will be fine. He’s uber talented but just got speed up like most freshman do at some point.
