First post since losing to Tennessee? Where'd ya go?!

Who currently projected by Palm or Lunardi in the field would your resume be better than with a loss?

Well a lot of people said Nebraska was a lock after their win over Wisconsin the other night but we have a very similar resume...we have more top 25 and top 50 wins though

Arkansas:
vs. RPI TOP 25 2-1
vs. RPI TOP 50 4-3 (Would be 4-4 with a loss to TN)
vs. RPI TOP 100 8-8
vs. RPI TOP 150 11-9
vs. RPI SUB 150 10-1

Nebraska:
vs. RPI TOP 25 1-5
vs. RPI TOP 50 3-7
vs. RPI TOP 100 7-8
vs. RPI TOP 150 13-11
vs. RPI SUB 150 5-0

If they are in i feel like we should be too. There are probably others that i could compare if i had more time

I assume it's no accident you omitted SOS and RPI numbers for each?

Here's what I see...(going with Arkansas going 1-1 in SECT)

Arkansas:

22-11 (10-8)
RPI: 62
Good wins: 3
Bad losses: 2
SOS: 82
OOC SOS: 198

Nebraska:

19-11 (11-7)
RPI: 41
Good wins: 3
Bad losses: 3
SOS: 27
OOC SOS: 96

I don't think SOS should matter when you compare wins, what i see is that they had more opportunities to get top 25 and top 50 wins and failed to do so. If a team goes 0-20 against the top 50 of course they're going to have a tougher SOS but they didn't win any of them

Now if they went 5-5 against the top 50 they would be .500 like us, but they didn't. The fact that you say we have the same amount of good wins as them with an easier schedule is kind of a bad thing on their part (though we have 4 top 50 wins so idk why we wouldn't have 4 good wins, but oh well)

You can ague whether or not you agree with it or not until you're blue in the face, however SOS and OOC SOS are 2 things the committee looks very strongly at. And if you have 4, so does Nebraska, I didn't count Minnesota for either of you because they're outside the top 50 currently, so either way you split you you've got the same number.

There's not an unbiased person out there that would say out of the 2 resumes I posted, Arkansas' is better.

I think we beat Arkansas but I'm more worried about playing an uptempo team like Arkansas and then powerhouse Florida. Fatigue will likely play a major role and Billy D is smart enough to press us out of the game. The bench has to be on point in the tournament for Tennessee to have a chance so we go as far as our guards take us.

If Nebraska's is better then it's marginal, and i started off by saying if they are a "lock" then we should be in too, didn't say ours was much better. But I mean they're 1-5 vs. the top 25 for crying out loud lol.

ESPN has our RPI at 57, not 62...but that doesn't make that much difference

They're not a lock, especially if they lose their first round conference game which this hypothetical situation is assuming. They're at best a bubble team, that happens to be on the right side of the bubble, Arkansas has a worse resume as you admit...therefore they're gonna be lower than Nebraska. Tennessee is behind Nebraska as well, and in this hypothetical would have a better resume than Arkansas. Arky needs at least 2 wins IMO to go dancing, or needs A LOT of help from other bubble teams.

Who cares about what UT did 6 weeks ago. We are peaking at the right time. Don't make me eat crow please.
