Well it has happened, the Lions became the first 0-15 team in NFL history today. Now the countdown to finishing the season defeated.
Any takers on a Lions win next week? Anyone?

Nope, not me, not with the game at Green Bay. No one has ever managed to lose 16 games in a single season, let's hope the Lions can complete the job next weekend.

I get to see history 2 years in a row. 16-0 New England Patriots and the 0-16 Detroit Lions.

I will definitely remember this team much more than the Gus Ferotte led Lions team that lost to the Redskins

Anyone with a heart and respect for Marinelli wants to see a Lions win. That said, the difference between accomplishing and wanting is big.

I do have a great deal of respect for Marinelli for sticking with it in Detroit. However, just like New England last season, the experts all said it could never be done, and I'd kind of like to see it happen. I honestly can't believe that a team could really go through a full season without managing at least 1 win.

It's kind of funny and sad at the same time.

If the packers lose to the lions, they should burn down the stadium

No one wants to be the team that loses to Detroit. As bad as GB has been recent weeks, I don't think they will let themselves be the one team to lose at home to Detroit.

Not me, I said the new orleans should be their last chance...turns out the colts were. Sad, I too thought that every NFL team wins one, but if you were to pick any NFL franchise to have this result, it would have to be the lions

Cheers, to the worst team in NFL history.

And almost even more amazing than the potential 0-16 season, is the fact that they've only had one winning season in the past 10 years. With the way the NFL is structured, that truly shows how inept that organization is to spend essentially 10 straight years picking in the top 5 or 10 of the draft every year, and manage to turn that into a winless season.

So I wonder, in a reverse 72 dolphins thing, do Spurrier and the 76 Buccaneers all sit around and pop back some beers if the lions manage to win next week's game?

I heard Spurrier say on Espn earlier that he would rather see his Bucs be the only team with that distinction because he said he would not wish that upon anyone else.

Espn and SI though have now been reporting the 76 bucs as ready to pass the torch. I kinda want the lions to win now, i like holding that winless season against the ole ball coach

Packers fans chanting 0-16....and they call the titans fans classless.

I feel sorry for whoever they draft. Imagine busting your ass at college football and then getting drafted to an organization that has lost it's will to win.
