According to who you are talking to? That was 15 feet to the left of 2nd so not normally but everyone is different. Some say SS get everything you can as those also say 3rd cut off everything you can. Others say stay in your position. It will take time to feel it out but no one hurt and got an out so nobody should be mad. If you go there and make an error, then there could be a problem.

Ben McKee did compare the baseball team to the basketball team in that the defense will have to carry both of them as far as they go.

Idk if I like hearing that too much, while I understand baseball is almost all about pitching especially when it's as good as ours but one more big bats emerging would be huge

agreed but most second base going towards the bag/center field and a decent runner not going to throm him up. I can not see the game but if it is not hard hit makes it even worse for the second basemen. Was it in front of the bag?
