didn't mean it in the same way as Hamlin, my bad, but if an engine goes bad that's usually your own fault. Hamlin has taken his entire team out of it because he decided to run over a lapped car.

so it's Junior's fault he's blown, what, 5 engines this year? or it's Kenseth's fault he blew up today? i mean his engines never blow up, so he had to have done something wrong, right?

fact of the matter is,of all the things out of a drivers control, it's engine parts. sometimes you just get a dud part that breaks. that's racing.

there's 7 cars within 46 points of each other. i don't think it's easy on anybody right now.

I figured that was coming. Of course anything can happen but The 24 and 48 have been the most consistant cars over time. The longer they stay at the top,I think they have the better chance over anyone else up there with them.

Geez, you're on a roll.Do you think he could of meant the team as a whole?
There are reasons beyond an uncontrolable part failure as to why engines blow.Drivers can overrev and engine and blow it. Isn't that what Kenseth said happened on a re-start? Blown engines can be the engine tuners fault. The difference between teams with repetetive failures and teams that hardly ever do are not just a matter of bad luck.

read post #24 doozer, I said TEAM. The team that doesn't beat itself. Blown engines can be a team's fault, taking the team out of the chase. chill.
