Went by LNS tonight on my way home and saw most of the scrimmage. I think I heard @txbo all the way from Texas saying “I told you so!” when the sacrifice bunt didn’t work. The three level porch looks impressive from the first base side. It’ll be tough on a visiting left fielder.

6 more days! We will be honoring Evan bleeping Russell who donned #6. On April 17, 2021, Evan hit 3 dongs en route to 6 RBI to beat Vanderbilt and their highly touted prospect, Jack Leiter. Evan is the ONLY Volunteer in program history to hit 3 home runs in a single game on multiple occasions. All in all, Mr. Russell ended his career with 3 games with 6 RBI, all against SEC competition. He also briefly held the program record for most home runs in program history with his 39th home run in Game 2 of the 2022 Super Regionals vs Notre Dame until Luc Lipcius tied him back up in the same inning.

Plenty of room to move around, a couple of tables, a bunch of chairs and your own grill- it's a good recipe.

Caught a few innings of scrimmage today and it was fun before the train wreck basketball. As mentioned the porch/outfield seating is awesome, no idea how much it costs to sit out there but I wish my season tickets were there!

Cool format of 1s vs 1s hitters vs pitchers.

Jared Dickey hit a missile line drive over.

Andrew Lindsey pitched one of the innings I saw, I do not follow roster/recruting/etc super closely until the season starts and had not paid attention to this name before today. Charlotte transfer, was throwing some gas and looked tough although what do I know watching one inning LOL.

Saw a few innings and other stuff, was fun watching that with a small crowd and hearing the coaches etc. A few other observations, but nothing else really that needs to be posted. Glad they left it open for fans to check out!!
