This is very interesting. Engstrand was the rumored successor for whenever Ben Johnson took a job and it was reported yesterday Dan Quinn is getting a second interview with Washington. Maybe Johnson is coming back

@Chippo how have you been lately? I know you had some health issues you mentioned, hopefully the Lions stress isn’t aggravating you too much

Why did we trade Hockenson, and what did we get for him? Wasn’t he one of our best players?

We got a 2023 2nd rounder (which turned into Broderic Martin and Hendon Hooker after trades) and a 2024 3rd rounder and gave up two fourths in 2023 and 2024.

Essentially the Lions knew Hockenson wanted a massive contract and did not want to pay him $17M (Hock got a 4 year/$66M contract) because they knew they had to pay others, hence why they traded him. They got LaPorta who is better than Hock and saved $15M/year for the next four years

Thank you Zjc ,, had outpatient surgery Friday for widening uretha tube,, scraped some prostate away.Been wearing a catheter for urinary
Retention. Hopefully surgery solves problem.
Will know after healing process. Thank you for
