Something looks very wrong with Detroit this year. As you referenced, the offense was bad last week too.

The only two reasons the Lions lost was the second Goff pick and the fact we scored 16 points on 7 red zone trips. If the Lions score 27 points (3 TD’s, two FG’s) like they normally do (and that’s way below their TD average under Ben) Lions win that game by double digits. It’s disappointing and Goff does not look the same dude from the last two years, but we have got to tighten up the red zone offense and we should be okay. Arizona will be a competitive game and then Seattle in Week 4 prime time in Detroit. Really need to get these next 2.

Got to remember these first few games are almost like a preseason for most skill positions who played very little IF any in the actual preseason

It was a tough loss. They should easily be 2-0 and a lot of other NFC teams lost. Really big missed opportunity

Something I would tell Ben Johnson is stop forcing the screen game to Gibbs and just run the ball with him. He's such a good runner but they telegraph these screen plays. They are better off just running the ball.
