The Official Detroit Lions Den Thread

Stafford's completion percentage went up, his INT% went down, and his yards per attempt stayed the same. Give him a better O-Line and 16 healthy Megatron games and you are talking his best year of his career.

I'd have to put the following ahead of him as well (in no order):

Wilson
Roethlisberger
Flacco
Eli Manning

Even debately Romo, Ryan, Newton. Possibly Bradford. (Not sure about Rivers.)

So in summary:

At best he's 9th best....at best.

In reality he could be anywhere from 10th/11th/12th best to even 15th.

Packers fans whining that wasn't a penalty LOL. You hit the QB in the head it's automatically 15.

Bad execution, a couple calls that didn't go our way (expected), and meh coaching led to the expected loss.

Hopefully we can shut down Dallas' run game.

"My Cowboys," despite the pretty obvious Lions flair right underneath ol' CMU Butch.

Pardon me if I feel a lack of confidence towards a team with no division championships and no playoff wins in my lifetime (I'm 21).

To be fair its not like The Cowboys have been tearing up the playoffs since the turn of the century.

A good comparison I just saw: Stafford is the new Drew Bledsoe.

Also: the Lions only played 4 teams over .500 (schedule luck!) and went 1-3. 10-2 against those that went 8-8 or worse. That's how it works sometimes.
