add another to the list of over rated flops from BB coaching tree -- The names — Al Groh, Charlie Weis, Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Josh McDaniels, Jim Schwartz, Bill O’Brien, Matt Patricia — scream mediocrity and futility. Coaches who have worked under Belichick have combined for one NFL playoff win (O’Brien).

So Jim Caldwell the highest winning percentage Coach since the NFL merger in 70’ isn’t good enough.
Goes 9-7 in his last year and gets fired.
But
Patricia has gone 9-20-1 and gets another year.
The only thing that has improved since Patricia was hired is the Patriots defense.

I mean, it’s dumb, but Quinn and Patricia are attached at the hip. So if you keep one you might as well keep the other. I was actually in favor of letting Caldwell Go, because I felt we have reached the ceiling with him. But I hate what they have done since. They talked about how we are now rebuilding, that was never mentioned when Caldwell was let go. There wasn’t talk of restarting. They said 9-7 wasn’t good enough. It’s a joke.

Other than Bevell, Patricia hired all his buddies from his Cuse days and they’ve been awful. The defense is an embarrassment. They were a losing team before Stafford went down, so you can’t point to that as the only reason.

That's a whole lot of the problem hiring his
buddies from Syracuse. These guys aren't.

All I want for Christmas is my 2nd playoff win in my lifetime...
