The Official Gonzaga @ Tennessee Series Thread (3/3 7:00PM EST SEC NET+) (3/4 6PM EST SEC NET+) (3/5 1PM EST SEC NET+)

Just have to chill until tomorrows game. I'm gonna have to cut my sermon at church a little short so I can get home before first pitch. Nah, the Lord comes first. Yall take care.
Just cut out one or two of those unnecessary illustrations. Listener's brains today have become accustomed to information-dense TEDtalks and podcasts.

Jesus seemed to think it was better to leave 'em stroking their beards, walking away with something they didn't immediately understand. Improves the quality of Sunday dinner conversation, too.

Yep, that guy. I respect him, but he loves all things Texas, like Aaron Fitt likes all things Carolina. They got a good thing going.

He’s an A&M guy, so not sure he loves the University of Texas necessarily. Now, the State of Texas… would agree.

Either way, they do have a good thing going — and show love to everybody.

After talking with him, he is a huge TV fan and UT baseball fan. Thought, as many, that we took things a little overboard last night but he has always fought for us to be highly ranked. Had a good Stache Talk podcast interview with him.

Maui is awesome but $$$!

Started the year in Ahuna’s hometown of Hilo on the Big Island watching the volcano. Went to Maui and met Burke’s dad’s best friend. Saw my UT baseball shirt and we hung out and drank on the beach. Dude spends 6-8 weeks multiple times a year in Maui just hanging out. Must be nice.
We actual left on Valentine’s Day and went to Kauai, then Oahu, then Big Island, but we were on the west side in Waikaloa, north of Kona. We (unfortunately) only had a 6 hour layover on Maui before heading back to Atlanta and then home, but we did get an Uber and went out into the town a little while. I really want to go back sometime and explore Maui more. Such a beautiful island. Heck, they all are.

I see my Darth Vader helmet got used tonight. If anybody finds a sturdy one, let me know.

I’m still looking. The $130 black series one I thought was a solution basically has to be put on in 3 separate pieces so that likely won’t work in a dugout after a home run.

Im going to scour Etsy and the nerd sites at the game today to see if I can come up with something else.

I like Kendall a lot. Think he is very good at what he does. On the other hand, I’m not a fan of Aaron Fitt. He’s pretty incapable of putting his personal biases aside to fairly evaluate teams. He really dislikes Tennessee and it shows just about every time we come up on the podcast or in conversation. Last year it became increasingly apparent just how much he hated us. He almost never picked us to win a big series even when we were steamrolling the competition.

They show love to everybody because it’s good for business. I have been following those guys since they were at Perfect Game. They were good then at the recruiting stuff, that’s a grind I would guess.

To be clear, I respect those guys, they clearly love what they do, they were doing it before baseball was cool. I’ve learned a lot, not just from them, but from their contemporaries.

It was a late night swipe about the regional bias in the coverage of baseball, that’s all.

All things TX meaning the state or UT Austin? He’s an AM grad as are both of his parents so there’s no way it’s the latter.

Yeah, me too.

What happened last night? Or did you mean last year? I didn’t get to watch any yesterday.
