I REALLLLLY hate the posts that list major league coaches or major league players (current or former) with no college experience.

We can't afford a major league coach.
We need someone who knows how to deal with the very unique problems of college baseball.

It's like when I hear toothless rednecks say we should hire Peyton Manning for football.

Yes! This is what I've been screaming for years. Thank you.

He has done a good job recruiting as a Tennessee coach and I guess I am in the minority but I think he deserves one more year.

If he has been an accomplished recruiter, in his third year now, then he must be an awful field general and a horrible motivator considering how his teams have (under)performed. :twocents:

You cannot seriously be stupid enough to believe that a coach at Fullerton would leave to come here.

Fullerton? It is all about cash, potential, and profile/visibility, something that SCF doesn't have a lot of regardless of their baseball success.

Everyone knows that State College of Florida is broke. I'm not sure how that's relevant to Cal State Fullerton or UT. :)
